We appreciate your interest in Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne. As a potential new patient, we want you to know that our office is a judgment-free zone. Whether it has been 1, 5 or 15 years since your last dental visit, you will receive a warm, cheerful welcome at Adult Dentistry because we are happy to see you.

Everyone has a unique set of circumstances and needs. We are here to listen and understand yours. If you’re reticent to share, rest reassured that no problem is too big, no question is ever dumb and, yes, we have seen worse.

Our practice has invested dramatically in new technologies which allow us to render extraordinary care and treatment results. We have the best technologies in our industry. We believe that our patients deserve the best dental experience possible, which is why we put our money where our mantra is.

The Natural Smile Dental Lab

Our new state-of-the-art, fully commercial in-house lab creates same-day crowns, veneers, and porcelain fillings with incredible precision. This equates to only a few hours of patient downtime for a complete restoration procedure. Dr. Harrell and his highly trained staff oversee every step, ensuring custom, high-quality results without the need for external shipping delays.

Digital X-ray

Our new Digital X-ray capability provides 10-times better image quality. This allows us to find problems earlier so we can correct them with more conservative treatments and save more of your natural tooth.

Types of Consultations & Visits

Patients get started at our practice in one of following three ways:

We offer a no cost overview visit to tour our facility, meet our friendly staff and speak with Dr. Harrell. During the visit of approximately 10-15 minutes our staff will inform you about the different procedures we can assist you with, including veneers, dental implants, teeth whitening, sedation dentistry, Invisalign and more.

Experiencing a dental emergency, such as a broken tooth or toothache? During this exam we will focus on your immediate problem and how we can remedy it. This type exam is usually about 30 minutes and includes a single tooth-specific digital X-ray to aid in the diagnostic process. We will propose a plan to fix your problem and get you out of pain. In most cases we will provide the needed treatment the same day. The cost of the limited exam and X-ray is $128 (excludes procedure fees).

Has it been a while since you’ve been to the dentist? Are you new to the area and looking to get established with a new dentist? If either answer is “yes,” this complete diagnostic checkup is for you. We will take a full set of digital X-rays, including a 3D full-mouth X-ray, and a full set of digital photographs. These will show us exactly what is going on with your teeth and the supporting structures. We will screen for gum disease and oral cancer. The appointment will conclude with a precision ultrasonic teeth cleaning. If gum disease is diagnosed, teeth cleaning cannot be performed and restorative treatments will be discussed. This fully comprehensive exam takes about 90 minutes and is $307.

Our help

Dental Insurance and Financing

We can help you with your insurance paperwork. We will quickly file your insurance claims with our electronic system and you will usually be reimbursed within two weeks. We file for virtually any insurer.

We also offer CareCredit, Cherry and Happen Bank — dental financing that can be used for both urgent and cosmetic procedures.
